Somehow we couldn't get up early today - so we missed the motel breakfast: breakfast hours were over when we reached the lobby. So we had the go out to find something for breakfast to not start the day with a growling stomach.
Then we drove to San Francisco - we wanted to visit the Zoo there. After about an hour using multiple freeways and highways we reached the parking lot, got our tickets and could start. The zoo is beautifully applied, not too big, even not too small. We watched a lot of different animals, starting with giraffes and zebras, followed by monkeys, rhinos, several kinds of tigers, ostriches and peacocks, ice and grizzly bears, boomers, pelicans and flamingos, and a children's zoo. With today's lovely weather if was a lot of fun and we spent several hours there.
On our way back we bought something to drink and some ice cream, and then drove back to the motel. Some time was spent in the pool. For dinner we went to Denny's again before having a relaxed evening.
