Today we managed to get up a little earlier to have our breakfast at the motel.
Invigorated we started our tour into the southern surroundings of San Francisco. A first stop was made in San Jose, added by a short shopping tour. Then we had a scenic tour to Santa Cruz - of course with serpentines and uphill, downhill again.
Santa Cruz has a beautiful downtown which we explored by feet. Finally we sat in front of a Starbucks coffee, had some tasty coffee and were amused about some weird guys strolling all over the place.
On our way back we made two more stops at the beaches. The Pacific was surprising us today with fantastic waves, it made a lot of fun to stand by the sea and look over the ocean.
Back in the motel we still had sufficient time for the pool before taking our dinner at the motel today. We picked up some pizza - not really cheap here in America - and enjoyed it in our room.
And again we had a wonderful day, ended in a relaxing manner.
